What excites you about new construction?
It's a rare opportunity as consumers to see more than just the final product. The home starts out as plans on a blueprint within a matter of months (pending material availability) my clients and I are able to walk inside doors to a completed home.
What process should a buyer never waive or skip?
I can't think of a good reason to ever not have an inspection completed. In the Charlotte market, the median house value is just under $500,000 why would you not spend $300 - $500 to know what issues you may face in the days/weeks/months after closing?
Is it a good time to buy?
Yes if you can find the house you want at a price you can afford. Generally speaking this is never a bad time to buy, however there are multiple factors to consider including your personal finances, loan interest rates, price of the property, housing inventory levels & even the local economy.
What led you to create a closing day experience?
When I purchased my first home many years ago I felt terrible due to some issues that could have been avoided, so long story short I wanted my clients to feel the love and excitement that I hoped for. So when you get YOUR OWN KEYS we are going to celebrate!
